Short and light ... a peaceful 2-minute piano ballad passionately caressed with romantic highlights. The affectionate first movement makes its tranquil appearance in Ab, then gently transposes to Db for a restful, soothing second movement culminating into a peaceful ending.

I wrote the song growing up in Iowa, played it live for the first time at an after-work bar in Minneapolis — finally recording it in my Orlando home studio during the Fall of 2022.
What’s in the Title?
Four concepts help establish the meaning of my song:
Son, Light, Ballad, Bagatelle
SonLight
The first two concepts — Son and Light —are combined into the single word “SonLight” as a phonetic, double entendre play on term “Sunlight”: Jesus, the Son of God, is truly Light!
Ballad
One of the meanings of Ballad is a slow, sentimental or romantic song.
Bagatelle
One of the meanings of Bagatelle is a short, light piece of music — especially for the piano.
